Welcome to the Dalhousie Outdoors Society (DOS) Gear Library

Instructions:

Step 1: Become a Member of the Dalhousie Outdoors Society (DOS). It's free! 

Step 2: Once you've received your membership card, create a gear library profile. Your B00# is your Membership ID. 

Step 2: Confirm your email address.

Step 3: Start browsing, and build your order request.

Step 4: Submit your request, and wait for your request status to change from 'Pending' to 'Approved''.

Step 5: Pick up your gear from office #340 in the SUB on the day you requested and listed operating hours. You will not be loaned gear without a $40 cash or card deposit. 

Step 6: Bring back your gear, undamaged and clean, on the day it is due!*

Important Reminders:

• A DOS membership is required to loan gear.
• Your gear is not guaranteed until your request has been approved. We may not have your gear!
• Your order must be placed a minimum of 24h before the start of you reservation date/
• Your $40 cash or card deposit will only be returned if your gear is dry, in equal condition and on time.
• We are student volunteers!

Changes to reservations must take place 24h prior.
